Overview
Vortex Magazine is a publication inspired by the traditional Futurism movement, reimagining its principles of speed, innovation, and dynamic energy in the realm of fashion. The magazine translates Futurist art concepts into avant-garde, runway-ready outfits, blending bold, experimental aesthetics with high-fashion sensibilities. Each issue celebrates movement, modernity, and the limitless possibilities of style, creating a forward-looking vision that honors the original Futurist ethos while pushing fashion boundaries.
Problem
Traditional fashion publications often focus on trends rooted in current or past styles, leaving little space for imaginative, forward-looking design. There was an opportunity to visualize how art and futurism could inform wearable fashion.
Solution
Created a brand and editorial concept that turns futuristic art into fashion narratives. Each issue presents unique, visually striking runway outfits inspired by forward-thinking aesthetics, accompanied by an immersive, cohesive visual identity.
Reflection
This project allowed me to explore experimental art direction and conceptual branding, strengthening my ability to translate abstract concepts into visually impactful, portfolio-ready work. It demonstrates my skill in storytelling through design and positioning a brand that pushes creative boundaries.
